Based between California’s Bay Area and Los Angeles, The Bureau (f. 2019) is a multi-award-winning architectural and interior design studio founded and led by Sarah Giesenhagen. The studio, composed of a small team of specialists, works across multiple practice areas of workplace, commercial environments, hospitality, wineries, residential, and site-specific art and design exhibitions. From concept to completion, The Bureau incorporates the context, history, and objectives of the client, to transform their aspirations to multi-dimensional, tangible outcomes.

Davis Owen and Irene Chung are the duo behind O·N Architects, an architecture studio committed to an optimistic view of the world. Founded in NYC in 2019, O·N designs objects, interiors, and buildings across the US. The studio values immersion in complex problems, often relating to perceived understandings of space, shape, and context. Testing, learning, and play are all critical to the studio’s process of design. O·N is interested in solutions which evoke both the familiar and the strange.

UNFOLD PROJECTS is a regenerative design platform modeling stewardship for an evolving earth. Founded in 2023, UNFOLD PROJECTS collaborates with local artists and artisans to restore and cultivate spaces where creative expression has room to unfold, through both the built environment and the artist residencies embedded therein. With locations in Encinitas and Idyllwild, California, UNFOLD PROJECTS champions coexistence, complexity, and confidence, fostering deeper relationships between artists and their practice, individuals and their communities, and people and the places they inhabit.

Based between New York and Florence, Italy, Soft Witness is a design practice where memory meets function. Thoughtfully crafted and imbued with sentiment, each piece blends practicality with poetic nuance, celebrating objects as the quiet witnesses to our daily lives. Founded by American designer Whitney Krieger, Soft Witness’ pieces are produced in a bespoke fashion by skilled artisans in Italy.
